Annotated bibliography and project proposal

Overview

In Module 2, you submitted three annotated citations for the project. Review the feedback on these citations and find three new citations. With these six citations, you will be able to complete the project rough draft in Module 5.

Instructions

  1. Find three additional citations that could be used for your presentation topic. Include the citations in full APA 7th edition format in the same Microsoft Word document you used in Module 2.
  2. Annotate each of these citations with a separate 5-sentence paragraph, including the following information:
  • Description of the source and author: Are they reliable and valid? [1 sentence]
  • Description of findings that may be important to your project. [2–3 sentences]
  • Include the reason why you chose the source. How will it support your project? [1 sentence]
  • In one short paragraph, discuss the formatting for the project and reasons for this format. This will be your project format proposal. You will be required to present your project in Module 6 with a 4-5 minute presentation; however, the format of the project is up to you. Use the Pathophysiology Project Rubric and Guide to help you figure out which format you would like to use. Here are some options:
  1. PowerPoint presentation
  2. Infographic – Example Templates (Links to an external site.)
  3. Topic Pamphlet or Brochure – Example Templates (in Microsoft Word) (Links to an external site.)
  4. Interactive Presentations – Examples (Links to an external site.)
  5. Choice of Your Own – Do you have another interesting way to present the information? Please discuss and include an example in your proposal.
  6. Please refer to the template Download templateprovided for this assignment.

Data[WU1]  Analysis Project

Introduction

Please briefly describe the objective of this study. What’s the point? Why is it worth studying? What are you hoping to accomplish? Write this in 3-4 sentences as a business objective for the study.

Purpose

The[WU2]  primary purpose of this study was to determine if there is a significant relationship between<insert independent variable> and <insert dependent variable>. The independent variable was <insert independent variable> and the dependent variable was <insert dependent variable>.

The[WU3]  secondary purpose of this study was to determine if there is a significant difference in the average <average what> between <insert variables>.

Research Question and Hypotheses

This study sought to answer the following research questions:

Research Question 1: What is the relationship between between<insert independent variable> and <insert dependent variable>.

Research Question 2: Is there a difference in average <average what> between <insert variables>.

I sought to answer the research questions by testing the following null hypotheses:

Null Hypothesis for R1: There is no significant relationship between <insert independent variable> and <insert dependent variable>

Alternative Hypothesis for R1: There is a significant relationship between <insert independent variable> and <insert dependent variable>

Null Hypothesis for R2: There is no significant difference between the average <average what> in <insert variables>.

Alternative Hypothesis for R2: There is a significant difference between the average <average what> in <insert variables>.

Data Analysis

Descriptive Statistics

The data were analyzed using the Microsoft Excel software. Descriptive statistics were generated.

The data was collected on (insert date).  During this time, the researcher collected data from ( ). The sample consisted of (#) participants. The variables included in the data were (describe each variable and how they were measured i.e., operationalized meaning mean, standard deviation, minimum, maximum for each variables. Write this in paragraph form for every variable you are including in the study only, if you are not including the variable in the study no need to write about it. Write this like: “There were 18 males in the study, with an average height of 62 inches, minimum height of 52 inches, maximum height of 70 inches, and a standard devistion of 3. and maximum of ).

Inferential Statistics

Regression Analysis

In order to test the relationship between <insert independent variable> and <insert dependent variable>, a regression analysis was conducted. The results indicate there is/is not a significant relationship between <insert independent variable> and <insert dependent variable>, significance F =  (see Table 1). Figure 1 illustrates the increase and decrease in <insert independent variable> dependent upon the <insert dependent variable>, revealing there is/is no correlation between <insert independent variable> and <insert dependent variable>

INSERT Line Fit PLOT OR LINE GRAPH GRAPH HERE and use the heading for figure 1 above but fill in the variables.

Two-Sample Hypothesis Test

In order to test for a significant difference in the average of <insert dependent variable> between <insert independent variable 1> and < insert independent variable 2>, a two sample t-test was conducted. The results indicate there is/is not a significant difference in the average <insert dependent variable> between <insert independent variable 1> and < insert independent variable 2>., P = .930 (see Table 2).

Table 2

INSERT THE T-Test Results table here

Conclusions (remove the box and type in a paragraph)

The results indicate that the null hypothesis that (place null here!) was/was not rejected.

The   conclusions section should have three things: (a) a summary of the results   [without numbers]; (b) recommendations for stakeholders [note: [WU3] Please do NOT use the term stakeholders.  Please   determine WHO the stakeholders are and refer to them specifically: teachers,   administrators, organizational leaders, etc.]; and (c) recommendations   for future research [Recommendations for future   research often include using different populations (e.g., by gender, age,   ethnicity, location, etc.), a larger and more diverse sample size, or   introducing other variables].  Be   sure to use logic when recommending   future research.  What would be the   next logical research step?  What else   would organizational leaders want to know about their employees, performance,   etc.?

[WU1]Any place you see a highlight is something you should address. Remove all highlights and all of my comments before submitting so you send in a nice clean paper. Stick to my format presented here only. Failure to remove my comments will result in your paper not being graded.

[WU2]This purpose statement will address the regression analysis

[WU3]This purpose statement will address the T-Test. Remember, you may have to create groups (indicate what is large vs. small and then split the groups) in order to run a two sample t-test.

Drafting a general position statement

For months the Board of Education has received numerous complaints about the arrogance of the superintendent, who has succeeded in offending just about everyone. Now the Board has fired him and named you interim superintendent. You are expected to be a peacemaker and lead stakeholders to a more positive perception of the district. To that end, the Board has asked you to draft a general position statement that will eventually be incorporated into the district policy manual. This statement should comprise your understanding of and justification of

effective organization leadership
partnerships with various stakeholders
sustained comprehensive educational reform

Question: Inclusive Elements

Click the ‘scenario’ button below to review the topic and then answer the following question:

Description:  The design of the project requires six days of work and one day of vacation. The decision was made for Sunday to be the weekly day of vacation since many religions observe Sunday as a day of sabbath. Several grievances were received because some team members felt that they wanted another day of observance for their religious beliefs. There were limited options because the project cannot work with multiple people out on any given day. The decision was made to offer two options for a day of vacation, Sunday or Saturday, but not both, and an equal number of people (10) had to be off on either day.

Question: Explain how this decision is mostly aligned with either the concept of equity, equality or justice with support for your choice.

Kotler and Zaltman (1971) | genius home works

Several decades ago, Kotler and Zaltman (1971) first used the term “social marketing” to describe the application of marketing theory to solve social- and health-related issues. Since then, social marketing has grown in popularity and usage within the public health community, including within national agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state and local health departments. Some of the factors responsible for the success of national social marketing campaigns are the efficient use of financial resources to develop marketing strategies, consistent messages across geographic boundaries, and uniform evaluation measures.

Respond to the following discussion points in relation to social marketing campaigns:

What challenges might you expect when adapting a national social marketing campaign in your local community?
Recommend ways in which your local health department may address these challenges.
