Employment Reflection Page.

Employment

During the course of this certificate program you have spent a considerable amount of time working on employment strategies. You likely decided to return to school because you know education is the best path to employment. Employers are looking for employees with a solid skill set, the ability to learn, and the soft skills to be a good employee.

The skill set comes with the courses, the ability to learn is shown by passing the courses and earning the Certificate, the soft skills we have both included in coursework and exemplified by our actions. Soft skills are those things that make good employees. Good employees arrive to work on time, work hard during paid hours, treat everyone with dignity and respect, and are honest and trustworthy.

Do not be afraid to include within your ePortfolio these aspects of your work ethic.

Complete this phase of the ePortfolio.

Include the following aspects in the assignment:

Ø  Meet with your Career Corner Mentor for a final wrap-up

Ø  Add any missing pieces to your ePortfolio

Ø  Send your ePortfolio link to a potential employer

Ø  Complete a job interview (if possible)

Ø  Submit the link of your ePortfolio to the dropbox for the instructor to grade

Ø  Write a reflection of this entire process and submit to the dropbox. This reflection should be 1-2 pages long and address each point. College writing should always have proper sentence structure, grammar and spelling as should the ePortfolio.

You must proofread your paper. But do not strictly rely on your computer’s spell-checker and grammar-checker; failure to do so indicates a lack of effort on your part and you can expect your grade to suffer accordingly. Papers with numerous misspelled words and grammatical mistakes will be penalized. Read over your paper – in silence and then aloud – before handing it in and make corrections as necessary. Often it is advantageous to have a friend proofread your paper for obvious errors. Handwritten corrections are preferable to uncorrected mistakes.

Use a standard 10 to 12 point (10 to 12 characters per inch) typeface. Smaller or compressed type and papers with small margins or single-spacing are hard to read. It is better to let your essay run over the recommended number of pages than to try to compress it into fewer pages.

Likewise, large type, large margins, large indentations, triple-spacing, increased leading (space between lines), increased kerning (space between letters), and any other such attempts at “padding” to increase the length of a paper are unacceptable, wasteful of trees, and will not fool your professor.

The paper must be neatly formatted, double-spaced with a one-inch margin on the top, bottom, and sides of each page. When submitting hard copy, be sure to use white paper and print out using dark ink. If it is hard to read your essay, it will also be hard to follow your argument.

Community health fact sheet | Biology homework help

Please send me both word and pdf version for the fact sheet

Creating A Fact Sheet

For the final assignment for the Community Health Project, you will be creating a fact sheet based on your research from Human Health and Physiology and Identifying Risk Factors and Solutions.

The idea behind creating a fact sheet is to inform the general public about an issue. Specifically, your target audience will be the residents of the community that you identified as being particularly vulnerable to poor health outcomes. You should assume that your audience will have a limited scientific background. You will be writing from the perspective of your medical specialty, but your goal is to make the science that you researched understandable to a general audience, while including the sources from your background research.

Assignment Requirements

While your final fact sheet will contain graphics, this assignment is just asking you to submit the text and your graph. As you are writing each section of your fact sheet, please use third person (no I/we) and think about consider how the elements fit together to create a fact sheet with good flow — it should proceed logically. Address each of the prompts below:

  • An introduction
    • In a brief paragraph, identify the health condition that you are focusing on and explain how the solution could improve health outcomes for your focal community. (This information should come from Identifying Risk Factors and Solutions.)
    • How does this solution address the risk factor that you identified? How would this reduce the prevalence of the health condition?
  • An overview of the health condition
    • Summarize what residents in your focal community should know about the physiology of the health condition.
    • How does the risk factor increase someone’s chance of developing the health condition?
      • Focus on the risk factor that your solution targets.
      • Be specific and provide details about the physiological connection between the risk factor and the health condition.
    • What steps can residents take to reduce their risk of developing the health condition?
  • A bullet point list of key facts, including:
    • The statistics for the risk factors related to the health condition, as relevant to your focal community. (Refer back to Identifying Risk Factors and Solutions if necessary.)
    • The % of adults in your focal community that exhibit the health condition.
  • A bar graph
    • Create a bar graph comparing the prevalence of the health condition in your focal community to three other communities. (Use the data provided in Human Health and Physiology.)
    • Be sure to properly label the x- and y-axes!
  • A community solution
    • Restate the solution and how it relates to the health condition.
    • Briefly discuss the organization, program, or movement that you selected as part of Identifying Risk Factors and Solutions. How does it relate to the solution and how could it improve health outcomes for residents?
    • How could residents support this organization, program, or movement?
  • References cited

Hrmt620 u3ip | HRMT620 Strategic Human Capital Management | Colorado Technical University

Deliverable Length:   8–10 slides (+ title and reference slides); Speaker notes of 200–250 words per slide

Respond to the scenario below with your thoughts, ideas, and comments. Be substantive and clear, and use research to reinforce your ideas.

You and Shawn met yesterday with the members of a cross-cultural leadership team from AGC’s subsidiaries to discuss a change in AGC’s human capital management goals. The team concluded that if AGC does not change, it may not survive in today’s global environment. To fully diagnose the problems at AGC, they recommended that data be gathered and analyzed. The team asked you to prepare a presentation describing how you will diagnose the problems at AGC.

Review the AGC scenario for this course and prepare an 8–10 slide presentation that addresses the following:

  • Describe why making a diagnosis is a critical part of a change management plan.
  • Identify at least 3 current human capital management problems at AGC.
  • For each problem that you have identified, describe a data collection method (such as interviews, focus groups, or performance appraisals) that you could use to gather data about the problem and from which employee groups you will gather the data.
  • For each problem that you have identified, describe how you will draw conclusions from the data that you have gathered.
  • Summarize your conclusions regarding the problems at AGC, and identify the root cause of each problem.

The materials found in the M.U.S.E. may help you with this assignment. Additional information is also provided in the Lessons from Experience series found at the following link:

Microbio discussion 10 | Biology homework help

Every year, natural disasters impact families, communities, nations, and cultures. Whether the natural disaster is a flood, hurricane, tornado, fire, or earthquake, it can alter the environment and cause potential health hazards.

For this module’s initial discussion post, research a major national or global disaster that occurred in the last decade. Provide a brief summary of the disaster and explain the common public health risks that occurred, as well as potential long-term health risks the victims might be facing. Do you think the type of natural disaster you studied has the highest risk of spreading diseases, or another type of natural disaster? Explain.

Assignment 2: clinical skills self-assessment /prac 6665: pmhnp care

Before embarking on any professional or academic activity, it is important to understand the background, knowledge, and experience you bring to it. You might ask yourself, “What do I already know? What do I need to know? And what do I want to know?” This critical self-reflection is especially important for developing clinical skills such as those for advanced practice nursing.

The PMHNP Clinical Skills List and PMHNP Clinical Skills Self-Assessment Form provided in the Learning Resources can be used to celebrate your progress throughout your practicum and identify skills gaps. The skills list covers all necessary skills you should demonstrate during your practicum experiences.

For this Assignment (just as you did in PRAC 6645), you assess where you are now in your clinical skill development and make plans for this practicum. Specifically, you will identify strengths and opportunities for improvement regarding the required practicum skills. In this practicum experience, when developing your goals and objectives, be sure to keep assessment and diagnostic reasoning in mind. As you complete your self-assessment this week, you may wish to look back over your self-assessments from prior practicums to reflect on your growth.

To Prepare

  • Review the clinical skills in the PMHNP Clinical Skills List document. It is recommended that you print out this document to serve as a guide throughout your practicum.
  • Review the “Developing SMART Goals” resource on how to develop goals and objectives that follow the SMART framework.
  • Review the resources on nursing competencies and nursing theory, and consider how these inform your practice.
  • Download the PMHNP Clinical Skills Self-Assessment Form to complete this Assignment.

The Assignment

Use the PMHNP Clinical Skills Self-Assessment Form to complete the following:

  • Rate yourself according to your confidence level performing the skills identified in the Clinical Skills Self-Assessment Form.
  • Based on your ratings, summarize your strengths and opportunities for improvement.
  • Based on your self-assessment and theory of nursing practice, develop three to four (3–4) measurable goals and objectives for this practicum experience. Include them on the designated area of the form.
By Day 7 of Week 1

Submit your completed PMHNP Clinical Skills Self-Assessment Form.

Week 8 Discussion JGR 200

Your team isn’t just people who work under you; you must surround yourself with people who can advise you, challenge you, and keep you honest—including mentors, coaches, and advisors. All members of a team must be aligned towards common goals. The team must have shared expectations and clearly identified priorities. Last week, you put together a fantasy team of four JGR employees to plan and run a daylong conference. Think about this team’s individual strengths and weaknesses. Then determine whether your team would most benefit from a coach, advisor, or mentor. What sort of person do you think would be a good advisor, mentor, or coach for this team based on the team need and why? How will their expertise make the team more cohesive?

Remember to keep your focus on what role would best serve the team and you as leader, rather than a specific person.
